Matter- Anything that takes up space and has mass
Solid- State of matter that keeps its shape and volume
Liquid- State of matter that keeps its volume but forms to the shape of its container
Gas- State of matter that expands to occupy the volume available
Particles- What matter is composed of
Property- Something about matter that you can observe with one or more of your senses
Mass- the amount of matter an object has
Volume- the amount of space that an object takes up
Density- a measure of the amount of matter in a certain amount of space
Physical change- an object changes the way it looks without becoming a new type of matter
Chemical Change- one type of matter changes into a different type of matter; the change cannot be undone
